Anton Moeliono, m. Figure linguists who build Nations with languages. He was born on February 21, 1929 in Bandung, West Java. He is the third child of R.M. Moeliono Prawirodihardjo and his mother Maria a. Igno. 
Moeliono married Cecilia Soeparni Josowidagdo. From this marriage, he had two children. His eldest son, Miriam Pramesti Dian Ichwan Yultido married and had two children. While his second, Patchouli Isbia Paramita is married to Judge Rafiq Radinal and have two children. 
Anton Moeliono, m. completed sarjanannya in 1958 at the Faculty of literature, University of Indonesia. He then continued his studies to the United States. In the year 1965, Moeliono earned a Master of Arts degree in General Linguistics from Cornell University. In 1971 until 1972, he followed postgraduate courses, Rijksuniversiteit. In 1997, he became a Professional Associate at the University of Hawaii. Then in 1981, he won the title of doctor of Literature in the field of linguistics that he traveled to the University of Indonesia.
In the course of his studies, Moeliono also became a Professor of Indonesian Language and Linguistics at the Faculty of Dealerships, UI since 1982. As a language, Moeliono ali has lots of experience from the University of Atma Jaya, Indonesia, and the language center. 
He made career in the UI since 1958. Initially, Moeliono became an Assistant expert. After his 31-year-old, he was Chairman of the Department of literature of Indonesia. Moeliono also became Associate Dean since 1965 until 1967 and was Chairman of the governing body of the Faculty of literature from the years 1966 to 1967. 
Since the year 2000, Moeliono became Professor of PEDAGOGY at Atma Jaya remains at the same time the Chairman of the study Program (Kaprodi) applied linguistics. In 2001, Moeliono get honor as a citizen of Adipurna Atma Jaya.
Moelino is also active in professional organizations. He has been a Vice Chairman of the ISKA (Catholic Scholar Ties) in 1959 until 1963, Chairman of Linguistic Ties Indonesia in 1967 until 1957, Vice Chairman of the Linguistics Society of Indonesia, and many more.
